Anyone who has been following me in my new foray into the author world, thank you. You've been utterly inspirational to me and make me feel like this lifelong dream is an actual possibility.

Now, the reason you are here. I am working on a new book. Actually, I have two books in progress. Both are fantasy, but one is romantic fantasy. It will be my first attempt at that genre, and I hope it turns out great.

The first book, which I hope to release by Christmas, is called Everkind, and it follows the Christmas of a 17-year-old girl who used to LOVE Christmas. Back when her dad was still alive, when Christmas actually felt like magic, because he was the one to bring that magic to life.

Dad's gone now, and Christmas hasn't been the same since. When she wanders into the attic, her dad's old workspace, she finds his red scarf. The one he wore everywhere this time of year, whether it went with the rest of his outfit or not. She wraps it around her neck, just wanting to feel closer to him once again. When she opens her eyes, the workspace is gone. The attic is gone. The house is gone. She finds herself in a strange wood, and no clue what is going on.

It's in this place that she learns the truth about her father, about herself, and about the true magic of Christmas.
